Home is where we have our connections, where we have our loved ones, and where we feel safe and content. It is all the more difficult to find such a place when we are hit by a dramatic change in our lives.
Ondra underwent several serious brain surgeries. Despite his young age, his mind, full of strength and zest for life, found itself trapped in an immobile body.
At that time, the young family had to make a difficult decision. The wife, left to care for their son and everything else alone, with a heavy heart found a second home for her husband.
They were incredibly lucky in their misfortune that Ondra is now at Doubrava - Care Center. The care he receives here is excellent, the environment is beautiful, and the people are kind and empathetic.
And what did Ondra wish for his wife and himself? Our Ambulance took the culture lovers to a concert in the Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Milovice. The atmosphere, the solemn tones in the special church acoustics, the closeness of their beloved partner... The couple were happy again.
