Home—a sweet word. For those of us who can be at home every day and visit our loved ones anytime, it’s hard to imagine what fulfilling this wish meant to Mrs. Jarka.
A simple request—“to see my daughter’s new apartment”—from a woman who is immobile and has been living in a senior home for years, set the wheels of our Ambulance in motion.
At the destination, we were greeted by Mrs. Jarka’s wonderful family. Her daughter, with tears in her eyes, welcomed her mother, and the entire family insisted that our team take part in this special family event.
We feel so grateful to be part of such emotional reunions and shared joys.
