A phrase often dedicated to soldiers and police officers, but this time, it was spoken to us... for serving with a full heart, for serving the son of a soldier, a boy who is just as much of a fighter as his father.
But Vilík is only 8 years old, and the fight against a relentless sarcoma can no longer be won. Fulfilling the big little dream of this big little warrior—this simply had to happen! And while today’s stars, the YouTubers, aren’t easy to reach, we gave it everything we had, and in the end, it all came together, including cuddling kangaroos at the zoo.
Children are a gift. The greatest gift. And when a little angel stays with us for such a short time, they deserve all the love in the world—from their world, their mom, dad, those around them, and even from us.
We are in awe of Vilík’s amazing parents, who are enduring the greatest pain a parent can experience. Yet, through their suffering, Vilík sees smiling, loving parents who want to make every second of his life as beautiful as possible.
